JOEY AMBROSINI OFFICIALLY RETIRES FROM LEGENDS OF FEAR!!

Joey Ambrosini started acting for Shelton, Connecticut’s notorious haunted attraction, Legends of Fear, in 2019. He started off playing as a Zombie until a few weeks later when he developed the undead character, Samuel Hemlock. Then in 2020, Joey played the role of Chuckles.
“My characters that I played at the haunt have always been something that I’ve worked hard on. It’s all about development and knowing what you are in order to give the customers a satisfying yet horrific experience. Samuel was the first time I ever had to dig deep in order to make the character something to remember and Chuckles was like the role I always wanted to bring to life. The plan I had was to make sure I earned the clown role for 2020 and thankfully I earned the opportunity and I was grateful.” – Joey Ambrosini
But when we asked Joey what his plans were for the 2021 season, he told us the unexpected:
“Well, I honestly don’t plan to act for the haunt any longer. You see, this pandemic really put a huge damper on the film industry. Just think about how many movies were set to film on specific timelines before we got hit with the virus. But thankfully, we seem to be getting back on track and I hope we continue to come back stronger after being away from the sets for so long. But because I do happen to have a lot of movies lined up for filming, my only plans for Legends of Fear, going forward, are to show up and support their business as a customer and with this year marking their 25 year anniversary, you best believe I’ll be there to support all of the amazing performers that are working there this season.”
We at Gruemonkey would like to give thanks to Joey for giving his all at the attraction to put on a great show and entertain the customers and we would like to congratulate Legends of Fear on making 2021 their 25th year of scaring people.
