Being a woman of horror isn’t something I sought out originally. I had always thought I’d be working with Martin Scorcese and other real artist type serious directors that are breaking ground and blowing minds. But as it turns out you don’t always get what you want! Just not the way you might expect it. As it turns out, I have had the opportunity to work the most amazing and innovative Directors and the fact they chose horror as their medium just gives me all the room and to be dramatic. And over the years i have grown to love the unexpected invention that has taken hold of this kind of movie. I love being melodramatic and feeling deeply. I love being a hero. I love being the most evil one on earth. Horror has become my home for personal exploration. And now I do find I can’t wait to see the next project or work with the next director. Sometimes it is great to live in your greatest nightmare. So you can push past it and overcome it. Horror movies have become a source of catharsis for me, both as an artist and as an odic member. I have worked with incredible vets who set the bar like David De Coteau who knows his camera and his actors so well, you verbally glide through the day. And The young budding independents like Jake Zelch’s , Jeff Schneider’s, James Crow’s, Troy Escamilla’s, Matteo Sardini’s, and Jackson Ward’s of the business. Each with their own incredibly special and distinctive voice. And then of course, there is George Mihalka of my Bloody Valentine. He was So young when he shot that movie , but he still had his own masterful vision of a sweet little town in the middle of Canada. I feel lucky to inhabit these worlds. When I’m on set , I believe everything. I get to live several lives in a life time. In most of these worlds a lot of rally scary stuff happens. But hey… Life is scary too. At least in a movie you know what the ending will be if you’ve read the script.

LOOK FOR ME AT DAVID DECOTEAU’S “DAY OF THE SCREAM QUEENS” ON SUNDAY JANUARY 27TH AT 2PM!

So many upcoming Horror flicks: Last Village in The right. Fading Flowers. Vampy. The Krampus Carol, The Stirring, First House on the Hill and so many more. You can keep in touch with their release dates on https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0879891/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1
