Platinum Dunes done with Horror remakes/reboots!!

Platinum Dunes has said they will no longer be doing remakes and reboots entirely and focus on original horror and genre films.

A Quiet Place has been a big hit for Platinum Dunes and so has The Purge franchise. So Platinum Dunes is starting to see original horror films are outselling remakes.  CinePOP  is reporting that Platinum Dunes co-founders Brad Fuller & Andrew Form revealed that they were likely done with remakes, and would be devoting more time to original genre pictures.

Platinum Dunes did some pretty cool remakes with The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Amityville Horror, The Hitcher, Friday the 13th, and Nightmare On Elm Street.
