Studio wants A List actor to be the voice of Chucky in Child’s Play remake!!
MGM’s Child’s Play reboot hits US theaters on June 21st. We have seen the images of how Chucky will look but don’t know how he will sound. MGM has been holding test screenings, and YouTubers Jimmy Champane and 3C Films have released a 2-part series on what’s going on with Chucky.
According to 3C, the final voice of New Chucky hasn’t been cast yet—and that producers are determined to bring in A-List actor for the job. As of now Chucky is voiced by the head of animatronics while the official actor is being sought out. Directed by Lars Klevberg from a screenplay by Tyler Burton Smith. Starring: Aubrey Plaza, Brian Tyree Henry, Gabriel Bateman, and Tim Matheson.
