Peaches Christ to make a new horror film that mixes drag and horror called Slay Gardens!!

What happens when two drag queens are driven to madness after being forced to perform the same show every night for forty years? …that’s the question drag superstar Peaches Christ is asking with her new feature film, Slay Gardens.

Slay Gardens tells the tale of two drag queens, portrayed by Christ herself and RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 5 winner Jinkx Monsoon, who are trapped in a theater and forced to perform the same show every night for a mysterious figure in the dark…or face deadly consequences.

This was announced in LA at RuPaul’s DragCon event.

Peaches Christ says: “All About Evil felt like the movie I had to make as Joshua – a boy who grew up obsessed with horror movies, unhinged women, and gore…whereas Slay Gardens is a movie being made more from my Peaches-mind, and I want it to be the insane drag queen-driven feature film musical spook-show that any Peaches Christ fan will be thrilled to see. To say it’s weird is a bit of an understatement.”

Also starring in this film/musical are:  Mink Stole (Desperate Living, Serial Mom), Bob the Drag Queen (Cherry Pop, Winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season Eight), and other surprises.
Directed by Peaches Christ’s alter-ego, Joshua Grannell. Written by: Grannell and Michael Varrati (Tales of Poe, Host of Dead for Filth). Music by: Jinkx Monsoon and Major Scales. The film should be out in 2019.  Slay Gardens will be produced by Ash Christian (Hurricane Bianca) and Brian Benson (Dolores, Sorry to Bother You).
