Netflix cancels French horror series Marianne!!
Netflix’s original French 8-episode series MARIANNE that stars Victoire Du Bois, Lucie Boujenah, and Tiphaine Daviot will not be getting a second season. Creator Samuel Bodin wrote this on Instagram:
There won’t be a second season for MARIANNE. We are very sorry and sad about that. But we will see you in other stories…

MARIANNE tells the tale of a novelist who realizes her terrifying stories are coming true, and she returns to her hometown to face the demons from her past that inspire her writing. It was created & directed by Samuel Bodin who also wrote the series along with Quoc Dang Tran. Du Bois, Boujenah, and Daviot’s co-stars include Ralph Amoussou, Bellamine Abdelmalek, Mehdi Meskar, Alban Lenoir, Mireille Herbstmeyer, and Pierre Aussedat.
