Japanese anime Akira getting a tribute music album!!

Toho released Katsuhiro Otomo’s Akira, a feature-length anime based on Otomo’s manga of the same name on Jul 16th, 1988.  Synthspiria originally a French website dedicated to synthwave music has created their own digital label. As a way of celebrating their own love of Otomo’s film, 14 artists have come together to create a tribute album doing music from the movie in their own styles.
