Horror stars and sports stars to participate in the Almirante’s Cup!!

Big name stars from both the film and sports will participate in the Almirante’s Cup (Banquet of Champs & Celeb Poker Tournament) at the Filipino American Community of Los Angeles on October 19.

RED Boxing International and Podium Sports heads the grand event, which honors current and former boxing champions as well as trainers, cutmen and other influential people in boxing.
A Celebrity Poker Tournament offers the public to play poker alongside some their favorite personalities from film and sport. All proceeds will go to charity.

Guests include Tony Denison (“Prison Break”), Lala Ali, Floyd Mayweather Sr, MMA champion Shannon “The Cannon” Ritch, Chris “The Heat” van Heerden, actor James Van Patten from the “Saw” series, Former World Boxing Council World Super Bantamweight Champion Paul Banke, Former USA California State Super Featherweight Champion Gregory Puente, Former World Boxing Council World Super Lightweight Champion Rene Arredondo, actor Vince Lozano (“American Horror Story”), Champion of Chile Renato Garcia, WBA World Heavyweight Champion Mike Weaver, actor Martin Klebba (Pirates of the Caribbean), actor Treva Etienne (“Falling Skies”), and Rey “Cacoi” Almirante Rodis II, CEO RED Incorporated.

Rodis, the first Filipino licensed professional boxing promoter based in the United States, is also a prolific film producer (Screamers, Christmas Crime Story) and owns prolific recording studio Spearhead Studio LA.
