Hellter Interviews Jasmin St. Claire (Swamp Zombies, Army of the Damned)!!


Hello Grue-Lings,

Today our guest is someone that I have worked in the past for a wrestling promotion called 3PW. Jasmin St. Claire. Jasmin use to run a professional wrestling company called 3PW that featured top Wrestling legends including Abdullah The Butcher, Kevin Sullivan, Dusty Rhodes, Terry Funk, Jerry The King Lawler and numerous others.

She speaks French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Norweigan and sign language. Her favorite horror movies are River’s Edge (1986), Freddy vs. Jason(2003), A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) and Friday the 13th (1980). She also loves the Wayne’s World films.

She studied martials and has studied kickboxing for a few years, jeet kwon do, has her motorcycle license and does gun training.

Jasmin got her start in the movie world from a horror film called Swamp Zombies, she played Lillian Carter. She did Dorm Daze 2 and played Mrs. Bunkley. She also did other horror films including: Army of the Damned as Agent Hart and Bite School as Dana. She is a huge metal lover and was the model for Coffin Case. I bring to you Jasmin St. Claire:

HELLTER: Have you always been a pro wrestling fan and if so, what wrestlers were your favorites?

JASMIN: Yes!! I loved the Ultimate Warrior, The Rockers, Hulk Hogan, Sherri Martel and Jimmy Snuka.

HELLTER: Love your choices. My top 3 are Randy Savage, Hulk Hogan and Bruno Sammartino tied, and Undertaker. Did you ever watch GLOW and what did you think of GLOW?

JASMIN: No, but oddly enough I was trained by Sue Sexton.

HELLTER: Oh Nice. So she trained you to become a pro wrestler, anyone else help her?

JASMIN: Sue sexton and Mando Guerrero.

HELLTER: Cool. How did you like working for the XWF and who did you manage there?

JASMIN: I worked with 2 amazing guys that have unfortunately passed away; the south philly posse which were formerly of ECW before known as public enemy tag team. Johnny and Rocco were both great guys. I loved working for jimmy hart.

HELLTER: Public Enemy was a great tag team, gone way to soon. How was your time in ECW?

JASMIN: Amazing! I am grateful to this day for the Dudley boys introducing me to Paul Heyman and Paul giving me opportunity.

HELLTER: Paul Heyman is a very smart man. How was your feud with the queen of extreme Francine and anybody else you feuded with in ECW besides Francine and managed?

JASMIN: My feud with Francine was Great and I haven’t even thought about her..think she’s off the radar . I also had a short feud with Electra, and I managed The Blue Meanie.

HELLTER: I remember your feud with Francine. Epic. Did you get hurt at all with that vicious piledriver from the top rope that Rhino gave you on a ECW show and did you ever have any interactions with Sunny or Beulah?

JASMIN: (laughs)…I’ll never tell. But it was lotsa fun! And no, never had any interactions with Sunny or Beulah.

HELLTER: How was your relationship with The Blue Meanie?

JASMIN: He used to hit me. Don’t really wanna get into that.

HELLTER: Ok. I respect that. Moving on. What made you decide to run your own wrestling company 3PW?

JASMIN: I wanted to be one the 1st female wrestling promoter. It was a challenge and it was fun.

HELLTER: You did a hell of a job at it. Whats your thoughts on Missy Hyatt and your match with her?

JASMIN: She’s underrated. I adore her and wish her well with everything.

HELLTER: I agree. I had the pleasure to work with Missy Hyatt. Very nice lady, and underrated. You brought in alot of top wrestling legends from Abdullah the Butcher, Kevin Sullivan, Dusty Rhodes, Jerry Lawler, Terry Funk, etc. Did you have a good working relationship with all those legends?

JASMIN: Yes!!! They were all professional and it was a privilege to have them work with me.

HELLTER: How was your time with TNA Wrestling?

JASMIN: I had a great time and would do it again.

HELLTER: Describe what the movie Swamp Zombies was about and your character in the horror film?

JASMIN: I played a mischevious hospital administrator that was conducting experiments with dead bio fuels that turned into zombies.

HELLTER: I saw Swamp Zombies. I enjoyed it. You did good. Have you done any other horror films besides that?

JASMIN: Army of the Damned and Bite School. Go on my imdb. I do thrillers and comedy.

HELLTER: I saw Army of the Damned. I have to see Bite School. Whats your favorite horror film?

JASMIN:  Omen and the exorcist. I also love Hitchcock.

HELLTER: Good choices. How did you get picked to be the spokesperson and model for Coffin Case?

JASMIN: I was modeling for BC Rich and I’m a real metalhead.

HELLTER: Right place at the right time. Who are some of your favorite rock and roll bands/metal bands?

JASMIN: Cannibal corpse, king diamond, sepultura, arch enemy, iron maiden, Judas Priest, testament, exodus, ex mortus, Amon Amarth, dark tranquility, dark funeral, carcass , dummy borgir and many more.

HELLTER: Wow, great picks. How’s it like working for Metaldarkside and Do you enjoy being the host for Metal Scene Tv Show?

JASMIN: It was a great time and Yes,….I loved working there and had a good time doing what I loved.

HELLTER: I’m glad you got to do what you love doing. Not to many people do that. I know your heavily involved in the metal scene. Do you play any instruments?

JASMIN: I used to take guitar and drum lessons as a kid. I’ll leave it to the professionals.
