Hello Grue-lings,

Today we are very happy to bring you to all another two actresses from Jordan Peele’s Us, Cali and Noelle Sheldon. Last week, we brought to you Evan Alex from Us and this week we have Cali and Noelle Sheldon from Us. Jordan Peele’s Us is a huge horror success. They play the Tyler Twins Becca and Lindsey. For people who didn’t know. The Sheldon Twins played Emma Gellar-Green on Friends. Below is my interview with Cali and Noelle Sheldon.

HELLTER: Hello Cali and Noelle Sheldon and welcome to Gruemonkey. Thank you so much for being our guests today and congrats on the huge success of Jordan Peele’s Us. How did you two get involved with Us?

CALI AND NOELLE: Our agent, Ani from Avalon Artists Agency, sent us on an audition with several other sets of twins and after that we ended up having another with Terri Taylor, the casting director. After that we met with Jordan Peele and Ian Cooper and a few days later we got the part!

.

HELLTER: I’m glad to see you beat out the other twins auditioning for the role. You two nailed it. Tell us about your characters in Us?

CALI AND NOELLE: We are twins and are the daughters of Josh and Kitty. Our family, the Tylers, are family friends of the Wilsons, but Zora and Jason don’t like us and we don’t like them. Becca and Lindsey are rude, bratty teenagers who mess with Jason and Zora and whose parents don’t like them.

HELLTER: How was it like working for Jordan Peele?

CALI AND NOELLE: Working for Jordan Peele was incredible. He was incredibly nice and he also helped us both work on our characters and he got us to do our best jobs. Jordan is crazy talented and getting to experience and be a part of his film was such an amazing opportunity. He was also really funny!

.

.

.

HELLTER: Jordan does seem like a funny guy and real chill. How was like working with Elisabeth Moss who plays your mom in Us?

CALI AND NOELLE: Elisabeth Moss was really amazing and talented, and she was also really sweet and genuine. It was a great experience to work with her and to get to see her act and also see her off set.

.

HELLTER: What was your favorite scene or favorite moment filming Us?

CALI AND NOELLE: The best moments were just working with everyone on set. Shahadi and Evan especially were both so sweet and amazing and it was really fun to get to talk to them and get to know them. They are also so talented as actors and we are excited to see all of the things that they accomplish in the future. Lupita, Winston, Tim, and Elisabeth are all such role models to us and meeting them and working with them was so special.

.

.

HELLTER: Nice! Everyone does seem very nice. Evan was great. We just interviewed him. Such a talented young boy. Any cool stories that happened on set?

CALI AND NOELLE: After filming the scenes, Jordan would show us the footage of what we just filmed so that we could watch it back. It was always really cool to get to see the filming and then the magic behind the camera, and to get to switch back from real and imaginary. Working in Santa Cruz was really exciting, as we got to be on the beach and hang out with almost the entire cast. We got to talk with the other actors, and meet them both as people and actors, which was really cool to see that contrast.

HELLTER: Hanging on a beach for a set sounds really cool. What are your thoughts on the huge success of Us? The fans are loving this film.

CALI AND NOELLE: Being a part of a movie which is not just a really good movie, but also one which carries such important cultural and social meanings and significance has been amazing. Not only did we get to work with such an amazingly talented cast, but having this movie be a success both in the box office and among the fans really shows just how important of a film this is, and really makes it such an amazing and exciting experience.
