They were checking out creepy one-two line short stories that we could adapt into a film, and this was a favorite Happy Halloween! 

The short film is one of the most underrated forms of filmmaking out there. A short film can do some really interesting things with the cinematic form and horror shorts are the best genre to apply this kind of freedom.
