Morton had seventy-nine championship reigns throughout his career. That’s alot of championships, wow. Him and Robert Gibson had won the NWA/WCW World Tag Team championships four times and the Mid South tag titles as The Rock and Roll Express.  Ricky even had a feud with Ric Flair and had an amazing steel cage match with Flair in NWA Wrestling. In 2014, Ricky opened up his wrestling school called The School of Morton in Chuckey, Tennessee.  On March 31, 2017 in Orlando, Florida, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on the Friday before Wrestlemania 33. He also still wrestles the indy leagues.  Here are Ricky Morton’s favorite rock songs:

RICKY MORTON HAD THE FOLLOWING TO SAY: Every song I listen to I think of it as a story. They’re fascinating and speak for the mind when other words can’t. These songs help me come together as a whole. The stories I had from all over the years, and they’re just a simple summary of what my life has been about. “Rock and Roll” is what I lived by for numerous years. I was a rockstar and didn’t even realize it. Great times in the good ole days. I’m proud of my accomplishments and the things like music that helped me get to where I am today. Rock on, my friends!!
