Celebrity Picks: Dylan Snyder (Kickin It)!!

Hello Grue-Lings,

Today for Celebrity Picks we have Dylan Snyder. I will admit this, yes I used to watch and love Kickin It. His character was so funny. Loved Dylan Snyder and Leo Howard. Great show if nobody has even seen it.

Dylan Riley Snyder is a actor who also did some broadway. While on Broadway, Snyder received vocal lessons from Richard Lissemore once a week for four years. He also has extensive training in Tap, Jazz, and Ballet, studying under Janine Molinari and Yuka Kawazu.

From a young age, Dylan took an interest in Astronomy. After graduating at the age of fifteen, he began studying Astrophysics at Santa Monica College.
Snyder is a prolific musician, with skills in Guitar, Bass, Piano, Banjo, Ukulele, Drums, and Saxophone.
While living in New York, Dylan auditioned for the role of Milton Krupnick on the Disney XD show Kickin’ It via self-tape. Disney flew him out to California for a chemistry read with the other members of the cast. After two months of waiting, Dylan was offered the role and he made the move to Los Angeles.
.
Dylan has been in numerous TV series and films including: Life During Wartime, Modern Family, Disney’s Circle of Stars: Do you want to build a Snowman?, Kickin’ It, Mamaboy, Welcome to the Howler, Better Call Saul, The Plague, Flock of Four, Hit It and Quit It, Will and Grace, Astrid Clover. He is also a gamer and has his own Twitch channel. Here is Celebrity Picks with Dylan Riley Snyder.

Dylan told Gruemonkey this on his Horror Picks for Celebrity Picks: So, I like a lot of classic horror, mainly because it’s so recognizable. You see a lot of modern films reuse tropes and styles from classic films, and I believe it is because it worked so well. You’ll also see I really like psychological horror.

DOA Review: Birdemic: Shock and Terror (2010) – The Horror Syndicate

BIRDEMIC SHOCK AND TERROR:

Ok, bear with me on this one. This is not a good film. It has poor cinema quality, very poor audio, and a poorly thought out story. However, I have seen this film well over 10 times. I keep coming back to it because it is a great party film. I love getting friends together and showing them this absolute trainwreck. Oddly enough, this is accidentally the film I probably quote the most.

New 'Scream' Movie to Begin Filming Sept. 22 in Wilmington, NC | Halloween Daily News

SCREAM:

Scream takes all of the great parts of so many other slashers, and blends them together in a comedic and horrifying way. If you haven’t seen it, Scream is worth the watch.

Midsommar' Film Review - Variety

MIDSOMMAR:

My wife and I recently rewatched both Hereditary and Midsommar, and Oh my gosh, they are such great films! I feel the director Ari Aster does a great job in Midsommar of building suspense and making you feel helpless as you watch the story unfold. Also, pretty much the entire film is shot in the daylight, which is unusual in horror/thrillers.

New trailer for "The Lodge", one of the scariest horror movies of last year, opening in February - Ganiveta

THE LODGE:

This is a fairly new film which I heard nothing about when my wife and I went to go see it in theaters. The film is very clever, and really nails the feeling of isolation.

THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS:

Anthony Hopkins is amazing. The film is creepy, and really good about divulging information at the right time.

Re-Examining The Texas Chain Saw Massacre | Oregon ArtsWatch

TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE:

I wasn’t a huge fan of this one when I first saw it, but it’s grown on me a lot. It’s a wild film and a fun ride, especially the dinner table scene.

Universal and Blumhouse Developing New Version of 'The Thing' That Will Adapt Long Lost Original Novel! - Bloody Disgusting

JOHN CARPENTER’S THE THING:

In my opinion, one of the best films ever made in general. I like the mix of the dark atmosphere, the use of puppetry, and the way the twists are revealed.
