Anne Hathaway to star in the reboot of The Witches!!

Warner Bros. and Robert Zemeckis booked Anne Hathaway for the lead role in the reboot of The Witches, based on the novel by Roald Dahl. She will play the Grand Witch, which was played by Anjelica Huston in Nicolas Roeg’s 1990 film. 
Robert Zemeckis is writing the script and will be producing with his partner Jack Rapke under ImageMovers, along with Alfonso Cuaron and Guillermo del Toro. No release date announced.
