Babymetal pays tribute to Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington at a live concert!!

Yo Grue-Lings Listen Up,

Tokyo Girls Update published a live report from BABYMETALs performance at Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo on July 25 as part of “The Five FOX Festival”

They did a small tribute to the amazing Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington who passed away on July 20.

BABYMETAL gathered together the elders and the youth at Zepp DiverCity on July 25, 2017 for the Silver Fox Festival (Gin Kitsune Matsuri).

The opening video revealed in a dream by the Fox God, delivering a message about a live show being a battle against the self and that anything is possible with metal.  “BABYMETAL DEATH blasted from the speakers, flashing lights and out came  SU-METAL, YUIMETAL, and MOAMETAL as they appeared behind a white curtain.

They sang all their hits including Gimme Chocolate, Karate, Megitsune

The stage went dark and BABYMETAL left the stage. As the house lights came on and the doors opened at the end of the evening, Linkin Park’s “Somewhere I Belong” played over the sound system, in memory of frontman Chester Bennington who had committed suicide days earlier on July 20th.  Very nice showing from Babymetal to honor a great talent like Chester. Good job ladies.
